Dr. Benjoya has specialties in MRI, CT, Ultrasound Imaging of the Head, Spine and Body.
He attended University of Illinois receiving his B.S. in Biology and graduated with honors in 1982. Later, he attended Medical School at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. His Internship was completed at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. From 1987 to 1991, he attended Loyola University Medical Center completing his Residency in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with a special focus in Body Imaging. During his last year of Residency, he was awarded the title of Chief Resident by the Attending Radiologists.
Through his career, he has obtained memberships in many professional societies. These include Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Illinois State Medical Society, Lake County Medical Society, and American College of Radiology.
Dr. Benjoya has taken part in many Publications, Scientific Exhibits and Presentations with various topics throughout his career.
He is Board-Certified with the American College of Radiology (1991) and National Board of Medical Examiners (1987). He acquired his license in the State of Illinois in 1987.
He currently resides in Buffalo Grove, IL, not far from Chicago where he was born.
