Dr. Delzell is one of our radiologists specializing in musculoskeletal imaging including MR and Ultrasound.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she pursued her Undergraduate studies at Wellesley College in Massachusetts where she graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics. Case Western Reserve University in Ohio is where she attended Medical School graduating with Honors and focusing on Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Clinical Pediatrics and Primary Care. She completed her Residency as a Diagnostic Radiology Resident at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Later, she was a Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellow as well as a Chief Fellow at Brown University in Rhode Island.
Dr. Delzell has been Board-Certified with the American Board of Radiology since 1997 and is licensed in the state of Illinois as well as Indiana.
She fulfilled her Academic Appointments as a Teaching Fellow and Clinical Instructor at Brown University starting in 1998. Until 2001, she had a variety of Hospital Appointments at Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital in Providence. Also, she was the Assistant Radiologist at Women and Infants Hospital. Up until 2004, she was the Staff Radiologist at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Throughout her career, Dr. Delzell has acquired memberships in many Societies including the American Medical Association, American Association of Women Radiologists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and more. Currently, she is the President of Independent Imaging of Central Illinois, Ltd, which was established in 2004.
Dr. Delzell has written a variety of peer-reviewed publications and has also taken part in many Abstracts and Scientific Exhibitions.
She resides in Dunlap, Illinois with her husband and three children.
